March 28-29, 2017 (At Sea)
We’re down to the last two days of our sea journey. This was the most challenging part of our trip because of the waves. It was hard for us to sleep and to walk because everything seemed to be moving. There were a lot of guests who were brought to the infirmary because they felt dizzy and nauseous. We opted to stay inside the cabin to rest and to be ready for the Gala dinner later that night. We actually thought we wouldn’t be able to attend the dinner because all of the restaurants who offered it were already fully booked. We were told we were in the waiting list. Imagine our surprise when we received a letter from the Pavilion telling us that we have been given a reservation. Lucky guests!
Come dinner time, we went to the restaurant. It was a full course meal with music and performances from the kitchen staff. There were also hosts that kept the evening alive. Dinner was okay, except for the presentation which was a 10, the taste is just okay.
After the dinner, we went to the Lido Theatre for the final show we were about to see. It was called Memory Lane. Again, it didn’t disappoint. From the singers (which were Pinays by the way), dancers and the acrobatic dancers, everyone were really good with their performances.
We arrived in Manila by 8:00 AM the day after. We ate our breakfast and grabbed our things to disembark the cruise ship.
That concludes our 6 days sea journey with Star Cruises MV Superstar Virgo. If you’re going to ask me, it is an experience you wouldn’t want to miss. Just watch out for promos from Star Cruises and plan those vacation leaves on time. Time to cross out some items from the bucket list. ☺
Until next trip,
